Boards show several scratches to covers, and light wear to hinges, spine edges and corners. Text block has minor foxing to pages throughout. Most title pages bear ink ownership inscription of “Lewis H. Steiner". Lewis Henry Steiner (1827 – 1892) was a US physician and librarian. Ex-library copy with usual markings, including a bookplate to front pastedown, institutional stamps to several pages, and call number written in pencil. MF consignment.
