Octavo, Five Volumes (mixed editions). In Good condition. All volumes bound in full leather with spines bearing red labels with gilt lettering. Vol. 1 with late 20th century rebacking, Vol. 2 rebound in full 20th leather, and Vols. 3-5 in full contemporary tree calf. All volumes are ex-library, with usual markings.
CONTENTS: Vol. 1 Second American Edition, 1794. Corners markedly bumped with evidence of repair. Some foxing and age toning to text block. Multiple previous owners' marks and inscriptions at front pastedown, a contemporary handwritten notes at title page, and a previous owner's bookplate at back pastedown. A large chip removed from lower right corner of title page. ESTC: W20728.
Vol. 2 First Edition, 1793. Some foxing and age toning throughout text block. ESTC: W20729.
Vol. 3 Second Edition, 1794. Titled "An Account of the Bilious Remitting Yellow Fever [...]" as usual. Binding shows bumping to corners and mild scuffing to boards. Tail of spine missing with evidence of repair. Previous owner's bookplate affixed to front pastedown and previous owners' names to second free endpaper and title page. Front free endpaper loosening.
