Fleetwood Churchill (1808-1878) was a noted obstetrician. He founded a maternity hospital in Dublin, was Professor of Midwifery at the School of Physic in Ireland, and served as the president of several prominent professional organizations.

Bumping and fraying to edges and corners of boards, head and tail of spine. Rear hinge starting. Text block age toned and slightly foxed. An ex-library copy with usual markings, including bookplates to both paste downs and ink stamps to multiple pages. CdV (albumen print unmounted) signed by Fleetwood pasted to front free endpaper.
