Boards show surface marks and scratches to covers of both volumes, wear and bumping to spine edges and corners, and some minor worming to front cover Vol. III. Spine label torn and incomplete to Vol. IV. Text blocks have minor foxing, age-toning and offsetting throughout both volumes. Volume III has fourteen plates, as indicated. Volume IV has twenty-eight plates, as indicated, but plates LX and LXI are placed in different positions than standard (LX opposite p. 282 instead of p. 291, LXI opposite p. 284 instead of p. 285). Vol. III. has previous owner name in ink "William Macaw" and stamp "A. Jesse Macaw" on title page. Vol. IV has previous owner bookplate on both inside front paste downs: "Doctor John Woolford, Princess Ann, Somerset-County, Anno Domini 1788". MF Consignment.
