A map of the eastern Russian Empire in Asia in the late eighteenth century. Created by Carington Bowles of the Bowles family of map makers. The map is in Good plus condition with staining to left and right edges and creasing to center of map. It has hand-colored details emphasizing borders. The map is matted and framed in a wooden frame. It has not been examined outside of frame. The map measures 22" x 20" and the frame measures 28.75" x 26.5". AT consignment. Shelved Rockville upstairs.
