This copy belonged to Frederick Pollock, an English jurist known for his work "History of English Law before the Time of Edward I" with F. W. Maitland.

12mo, 276 pages. In Good minus condition. Fully bound in brown leather with gilt lettering on black spine label. Boards show heavy rubbing to corners and along edges with head edge of spine missing, splitting along front joint, and spine label partially worn off. Text block shows age toning to pages, writing in pen on title page, and ownership marking penned to front paste down. STC 15144. RWO Consignment.
