Emma Goldman (1869-1940) was an anarchist political activist and writer. She played a pivotal role in the development of anarchist political philosophy in North America and Europe in the first half of the 20th century.

Minor newspaper discoloration to verso of front free endpaper, recto of frontispiece, rear endpapers, pages 14 and 15. Signed by Emma Goldman in pencil on front endpaper, also with a pencil date of 2/13/16, possibly in a different hand. Scarce found signed.
